Genesis

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Malkapuram, Andhra Pradesh, was established in 1966. Its foundation stone was laid on January 24, 1969, by Rear Admiral K. R. Nair of the Indian Navy. Currently, the school is a three-section institution with an effective capacity of 1366 students, offering classes from I to XII.
During the academic year 2023-24, Balvatika 3 was introduced, and the school is preparing for Balvatika I and II as well. Several students from the school have pursued higher studies at IITs, medical colleges, and other prestigious institutions. The school is playing a leading role in the district’s school education sector by effectively implementing the National Education Policy 2020.
